Foundation Phase

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we extend a warm welcome to each of you who is considering Kronendal Primary School. We are thrilled by the prospect of having you as part of our school community.

At Kronendal in the Foundation Phase, we believe in fostering a caring environment where every child feels valued and supported. Our dedicated team of educators is committed to providing not only a high-quality academic program but also a nurturing atmosphere that encourages personal growth and development.

Our teaching approach within the national CAPS curriculum, is further designed to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. Through engaging lessons and innovative teaching methods, we aim to ignite the potential within each student and prepare them for future success.

Beyond academics, we also emphasise the importance of character development and social-emotional learning. We encourage kindness, empathy, and respect among our students, helping them build strong relationships and a sense of community.

Our Foundatin Phase is led by Valecia Wolmarans, a graduate of UNISA with 29 years teaching experience.

Senior Phase

The Senior Phase of Grades 4-7 of Kronendal Primary school is a vibrant and nurturing environment where academic excellence and personal growth go hand in hand.

We are committed to providing a caring and supportive atmosphere that fosters both learning and character development. Our dedicated team of educators is passionate about inspiring and guiding our learners through these critical years of their education journey.

Our teaching approach within the national CAPS curriculum is further designed to be engaging and challenging, tailored to meet the unique needs of students at this stage of their schooling. We believe in a holistic approach to education that not only focuses on academic achievement but also encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.

In addition to our strong academic focus, we prioritise the well-being and happiness of every learner. Our school community values respect, kindness, and inclusivity, ensuring that each learner feels safe and supported throughout their time here.

Our Senior Phase is led by Kerry McCraw, a graduate of Stellenbosch University, with over 30 years teaching experience.
